Distribution of Sneh Patra and Letter from Hon’ble Prime Minister to children under PMCARES for children Scheme

  • District were given on 30th May 2022, where Hon'ble Prime Minister of India virtually connected to all district of India . Shri Ranjit Kumar Dass – Hon’ble Minister of Panchayat and Rural Development, Public Health Engineering, Food & Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Govt. of Assam along with Deputy Commissioner, Addl. Deputy Commissioner, Other Officials and Media personnel were present at Conference Hall, Barpeta where the programme was virtually organised. The aim was to support children who have lost both the Parents or legal Guardian or Adoptive Parents or Surviving Parent to COVID-19 pandemic during the period starting from 11th March 2020. The objective of the Scheme is to ensure comprehensive care and protection of Children in a sustained manner, and enable their well being through health insurance, empower them through education and equip them for self-sufficient existence with financial support on reaching 23 years of age. Shri Ranjit Kumar Dass – Hon’ble Minister, handed over all the relevant documents like Pass Book, Health Card etc.
