Overview:-
- Barpeta PHE Division was established in 1979.
- The Division is located at Sonkuchi Colony, Barpeta – 781314, Assam
- Barpeta (PHE) Division had 2 nos. of Sub-Divisions formerly covering undivided Barpeta District, now it has only 1 no. of Sub- Division namely Barpeta (PHE) Sub-Division covering 6 nos. LACs under Barpeta District.
- The Division has been working for providing Safe Drinking Water and Sanitation Facilities in rural areas of Barpeta District.
- A District Level Laboratory and a Mobile Laboratory Van are also functioning for monitoring the quality of drinking water in the district.
